Book a charter fishing trip on the Jerry A, a true Southern California gem.

The Jerry A is a 47-foot custom-built Jeffries sport fisher specifically designed for our local waters. She is equipped with top-of-the-line electronic systems and offers a large back deck with a 200-gallon bait tank, a full walk-around layout, and seating inside. She cruises at a comfortable 12 knots and can run up to 16 knots.

Half Day Trip

Half-Day Trip (5.5 Hours)

Half-Day Trips are five and a half hours, fishing anywhere from Point Loma to Del Mar targeting our local and inshore fish species, which includes Calico Bass, Rockfish, Sand Bass, Bonito, and Barracuda with the occasional larger game fish such as Yellowtail, White Sea Bass, and Halibut.

Departures: 7:00 AM-12:30 PM, or 1:00 PM-6:30 PM

Three Quarter Day Trip

Three-Quarter Day Trip (9 Hours)

Our Three-Quarter Day Trips are nine hours and target all the local inshore species as our Half-Day Trips but with more time to cover more range and ability to target designated species.

Full-Day Trip—Coronado Islands, Mexico (12 Hours)

The Coronado Islands host beautiful scenery and excellent fishing. During this 12-hour trip, you can expect to target Yellowtail, Barracuda, Bonito, and Bass, along with great bottom fishing (Rockfish). *Passports are required.

Two Day Trip (47 Hours)

Full-Day Offshore Trip (12 Hours)

Our Full-Day Offshore Trips are designed to fish the local banks, specifically targeting Yellowtail, Tuna, and Dorado. This 12-hour trip boasts beautiful scenery and excellent fishing and allows us to fish the local US and Mexican waters. *Mexican fishing license is not included.

Departure: 6:00 AM, return 6:00 PM

Overnight Trip

Overnight Trip (23 Hours)

When the fish are far, this is the trip to choose. This trip departs in the evening and allows you to wake up on the fishing grounds for a maximized day of fishing, targeting Yellowtail, Tuna, and Dorado. *Mexican fishing license is not included.

Departure: 8:00 PM, return the evening of the 2nd day at 7:00 PM

One and a Half-Day Trip (34 Hours)

This trip gives you the true sun-up to sundown fishing experience. By departing the night before, you wake up on the fishing grounds, fish all day, eat a nice dinner, and then wake up the morning of the 3rd day at the docks. This trip allows us to go the range and make sure our clients are on the best grounds to fish all of the pelagic species our local waters provide.

Departure: 8:00 PM, return the morning of the 3rd day at 6:00 AM

Our trips accommodate up to 6 people per trip.

Rods, reels and tackle are all included but you are more than welcome to bring your own if you like.

Depending on the trip type you book we will be fishing different waters. On the shorter trips we will be in local waters from Point Loma to Del Mar. On the overnight trips we have more time to fish the entire range of available water and will fish between Ensenada and Catalina.

Appropriate clothing, any fishing gear that you would like to use (Rods, reels and tackle are provided), sunblock.

Depending on the trip type we will be targeting Calico Bass, Rockfish, Sand Bass, Bonito, Barracuda, Yellowtail, White Sea Bass, Halibut, Tuna and Dorado.

Yes, you will need a fishing license before we depart the docks. For trips where we fish Mexican waters a Mexican fishing license will also be required.

No. Fishing licenses are not included. Fishing licenses need to be obtained prior to departing the dock. For trips where we fish Mexican waters a Mexican fishing license will also be required and needs to be obtained prior to departure as well as your passport.

Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are provided. Meals are provided on overnight trips and are $40 per person per day which is to be paid in cash upon arriving to the boat.
